Description

W.A. (Mayor Will) Hendricks owned the first automobile in Davie County, a 1904 "One Lung" Cadillac that he drove at 14 miles per hour. This license plate belonged to the 126th car owner in Mocksville, and was issued on June 30, 1930. Item donated by Jack Pennington.
