The Seal Sale campaign was a fundraising effort in the fight against tuberculosis in Forsyth County. The Seal Sale chairpeople in 1948 were: Robert C. Black, Richard Perry, Thomas Hairston, Lottie S. Hairston, Reverend M.S. Laughlin, Josie White Simon, Roy L. Camp, Roy Watson, Reverend H. William Phillips, Everett Fox, W.N. Walton, Thelma Cobb, Mildred Thomas, Vivian Massey, Olivia Wynn, and Charles I. Martin.
