Black and white photo is of Mr. Nelson Bridges and his plane. Nelson is the son of Glee A. Bridges. The family members learned to fly during WWII. Glee Bridges built a landing striped and hangar on their family property after WWII. The landing striped was located on what is now Landing Street in Kings Mountain. On the back of the photo is a handwritten note: "Nelson Bridges son of -- Glee Sr."
