Black and white photo is of Josephine Ellerbe Weir working in the library of Kings Mountain High School. Mrs. Weir worked for Kings Mountain Schools for over 40 years, and was very civically active in Kings Mountain. During the 1988 renovation at the Mauney Memorial Library, the Weir Auditorium was dedicated in her honor. The photos shows three unidentified people studying. The reverse of the photos has the following inspection. "Inscription on back reads "Mrs. W.T. Weir/ (Josephine Ellerbe Weir)/KMHS library & students/ 3-col/ Herald pub. House"
