This black and white photos is of the original post office in Kings Mountain, located at 100 East Mountain Street, The post office was built in 1939 as a WPA project and is a Colonial Revival style. A new post office was built on Gold Street in 1986. At that time Kings Mountain Historical Museum was created and opened in the historic post office.
