Description

Structure date circa 1900. As You Like It was the home of Lily Morehead Mebane and B. Frank Mebane, founder of many of the textile mills in what is now Eden, NC. The oldest section of the house was built 1839 by Governor John Motley Morehead. The house was demolished after a fire in the 1970's. Located Eden, NC, Leaksville Township.
