Souvenir booklet with First Day Issue Postal Card for the Battle of Kings Mountain Stamp, October 7, 1780-1980. The booklet contains the story of the 1780 battle and provides a protective cover for the postcard. This is the fifth in a series of postcards designed to commemorate the American Revolutionary War. The postcard was designed by David Blossom. The front artwork was designed by Major Robert W. Wilson. Green and brown paint is used on the front cover.
