Description
Contributed by Ka Yeng Vang. This is a legal document typed in Lao
with handdrawn drawings around the border, a three headed elephant at the top, and
red stamped seal at the bottom. The three headed elephant at the top of the document
represents the three kings of Laos coming together to form one government that was
ruled by one king and one prime minister. This documentation was given to Ka Yeng's
father when he was elected to a higher position in his city in Laos. The position
was similar to an assistant town manager.
