There is a list of the Businesses (and their owners) who were members of the Downtown Development Association. Information about Economic Trends, Retail Sales, and general community outlook led the committee to determine it was "time to act." Albert Rumbough and associates titled "Trends in the Economy of Durham and Durham County."
