Descriptions of the annual communication of the Grand Lodge of North Carolina held in the Masonic Hall of Raleigh from December 2 to December 6, 1861, including names of those present at each meeting, an accounting of dues received from subordinate lodges, a list of the lodges working under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge, and returns describing the state of the subordinate lodges and their membership. A Note in the front entreats Masters of subordinate lodges to have these Proceedings read at a convenient time. There is also a faint signature on the title page.
