75 pages. The book is divided into two parts the Civil War experiences is contained in part one. The second part is a roster of volunteers who enlisted in 1861 with small biographies of each. The company of volunteers to the Confederate Army was called the 4th Regiment, Company D, The Cleveland Blues. Edward Dixon headed the Cleveland Blues until his death in 1982. The author began his research with letters and documents which were found in his great-great-grandfather’s house. The book contains copies of the original letters and documents with transcriptions.
