A folder containing photos, documents, and newspaper clippings about the Coolmore-Powell House located on Highway 64 west of Tarboro. Built by Edmund G. Lind of Baltimore for Dr. Joseph John Willis Powell in 1857, the building and plantation stands as one of only 38 National Historic Landmarks in North Carolina. Also included in this collection is a brief article in the July-August 2012 issue of the Welcome to Tarboro & Homes Magazine about the Coolmore Plantation. There are both exterior and interior photos of the home included in this collection. Most of them are undated.
