A folder containing photos, articles, and materials about the Cool Spring Plantation near Tarboro. Also included in this folder are documents about the Old Town Plantation, the home of Elisha Battle, the ancestor of a prominent North Carolina family, that was later moved to another part of Cool Spring Plantation. Articles from different publications like North Carolina Humanities and The Daily Southerner are included, as are floor plans of the plantations and materials about the Battle lineage. Interior and exterior photos are included, many of which are undated.
