Album of photographs of students making and playing with marionettes in 1964 and 1965. Helen Poole taught sixth grade at Troy Elementary School in Troy, North Carolina. Every year, the sixth grade students would make puppets under her direction, and write and perform a show for the community. Helen Poole's sister is Mary Elizabeth Poole, who created the government documents catalog system used by the United States government today.
