Description

Scrapbook, 1955-1956, depicting Hot Springs' participation in Carolina Power and Light Company's Finer Carolina contest. This program encouraged towns throughout the CP&L service area to conduct community improvements with the goal of winning a cash award. Of particular note in the year's scrapbook is documentation of the town's successful effort to bring a doctor to the area.
