Scrapbook documenting the life and career of baseball player pitcher Ray Scarborough. Contents include newspaper clippings, letters, magazine articles, and photographs relating to Scarborough playing for the Wake Forest University baseball team, his time in the minor leagues on teams such as the Roanoke Rapids Romancos and the Burlington Terrible Towers, his career as pitcher for the Washington Senators, and his time in the Navy, when he played on the Pre-Flight school baseball team. Materials relating to the 1950 Major League Baseball All-Star game, including signed materials by Yogi Berra and Joe Dimaggio, among others, is also included. Contents' dates range from 1939 to 1952.
