Isabella Jane Hearne kept this scrapbook during the Civil War when she was a young child. It contains an invitation given to her father concerning a "Union Conversational Party." The "Party" was to be a discussion among local community leaders on how they could influence the State government to remain in the Union and avoid Secession.
