Scrapbook compiled by the Asheboro Finer Carolina committee, 1954. The city won first place in its population class in the state-wide contest held by the Carolina Power & Light Company. Projects include community clean-up and landscaping, securing new industry, building additional school facilities and parks, and promoting community. Scrapbook contains many photographs documenting the various projects.
