Letter to the Board of Alderman for application as the Librarian in the public library by Daisy Battle. Transcription: Andrews, N. C. May 12, 1941 Chairman of the Library Board Dear Board Members. I do here by make my application for Librarians place in the Andrews Carnegie Library. I have served the Library Board and community to the best of my ability, and promise to do so in the future if I am appointed. Since I have been Librarian I have followed very carefully the routine sent out by the state for Libraries. I have cooperated with all the organization in the town and rendered necessary aid to those who use the Library.
