Source "Nicks Store Decked in Red, White and Blue for 4th of July" by Don Bolden in Burlington Times-News November 4, 1984. This photo was taken at Nicks Store on Courthouse Square in Graham, North Carolina, on Independence Day 1915. The adult in the suit is the proprietor W.J. Nicks, who was born in 1863. The store also served as a gasoline station in 1915 for the few cars on the road.
