This photo was a postcard. It depicts a group of riders in front of Burlington Hardware on Davis Street. This same picture is misidentified in “Commemorative Souvenir Program May 9-16, 1971: Battle of Alamance” as depicting riders on Main Street in 1909. This photo is substantially the same view as “Davis Street 1909”, except taken from mid-block instead of from the intersection of Spring and Davis Streets.
