She speaks about working for Bill Pharr at Stowe's mill, making $2/week when she started. Reeves speaks about the living conditions in the family's house, saying they didn't have much but they never felt like times were hard. She details dating and eloping with Bill Reeves when she was 17. They had 2 children together, Blanche and James.
