Sadie Seats arrives at the Picnic in a 1920 Ford owned by Jerry Anderson and driven by Bob Powell. Mrs. Seats first traveled to the picnic in a horse-drawn wagon. Her nephew, county historian James Wall, reports, "Aunt Sadie attended in 1903 as a child of one. Her family left Cana at 4:00 a.m., after milking the cows, in order to enjoy ample time at the Grove for visiting and dining."
