Redwine Dear uncle your kind letter came to hand in due time but I have neglected writing until now. I hav no nerves hard times hear in these parts. Sorry prospects for crops exsep? wheat it is tolerable good. But ? But very little of that hear we hav bin flooded now for the past 2 weaks with raine. All produce low down come 50 et per Bu Bacon & et per lb. Thes few ? leaves us all well all so the health of the countary is generaly good for want of nerves I must close hopeing you will excuse this short letter. I hope to heare frome you soone again.
