Letter from H.F. Redwine to William P. Redwine concerning the family spreading out to Alabama, Texas, and the Arizona Territory. Transcription: Cherokee Ala June 1th 1879 Mr. Wm. P. Redwine Hear uncle your favor of May 25 inst came duley to hand. I had begin to think that I would never get no respond to my last letter. This writing leaves my self & family all well. All so Mother & family was all well a few days ago. I hav too brothers out west. M. D. is in Sanantonio Texas. I C. has gone to Arizona Territory this year with cattle. They both was well a few days ago. I am still a bumming along hear near Cherokee tryin the farming a little. Crops looks very promising at the presant time. All produce is advancin in price. financial matters seams to be getting better a little among our people hear. Hopeing to hear from you again. I remain your nephew Respectfully H. F. Redwine
