No. 1 Dover, New Jersey Dear Mr. Cochran, When you flew us and our friends The Davises to Ocracoke from Hatteras past year, we were so impressed with it. We decided we would like to stay there on our next trip. We are going down in October with the Davises and our two sons, equipped, this time, with a jeep station wagon and our own boat. Could you advise us where to write for reservations on the island? We had a wonderful lunch at a place you took us and wondered if that was also a place to stay. If you are still on Hatteras and not in some remote corner of the world collecting interesting shells, I hope you will not find it too much trouble to drop us a line to help us out.
