Description

A scrapbook that compiles narrative articles, speeches, and correspondence by John F. Schenck along with clippings and ephemera. Many documents are related to the actions of the United States government before, during, and after the Great Depression and the impacts to businesses in rural communities. There are copies of articles submitted to newspapers and other publications, and of letters sent to noted individuals in government. Image 157 begins a genealogy of the Schenck and Bevens families. Note that blank pages have been omitted.
