Description

Emily Herring Wilson speaking at Rotary Auditorium in the J.P. and Mildred Huskins Library on Monday, March 2 at 12:30 PM. She discussed the history of Mitchell Community College and about notable North Carolina women, including Virginia Dare, Harriet Jacobs, Ella May Wiggins, and Mary Martin Sloop. She ended her talk by encouraging the audience to continue to fight against inequity.
