Hog killing performed outside at H W Strickland's farm, located on Wilson's Mills Rd. An unidentified adult kneels by a fire that is lit under a large, metal drum of boiling water. Also visable are a horizontal wooden poll for hanging carcasses and three hog heads on a platform raised by oil drums.
