Description

The ACTWU won a seventeen year struggle against the JP Stevens plants in 10 locations covering 3500 workers. The agreements provided for additional plants to be included and for arbitration, dues checkoff and 19.5% back pay settlement for the workers at the Roanoke Rapids plant.
