For this Black History Month panel discussion, the theme was "Heritage and Horizons: The African American Legacy and the Challenges of the 21st Century." Participants include Dr. Gloria Rembert (Mitchell Community College Business instructor) included Joyce Page, Darrel Williams, Melvin Tennant, David J. Meacham, and Dr. Ralph Soney (Mitchell Community College Vice President of Instruction). Statesville High School and members of STAR were also in attendance.
