Description

Daniel Edward Williams was born in South Mills in 1874 and married Mamie Webb in 1897. Williams continued in the family dry goods business as well as farming and lumbering. He became very successful in milling lumber and owned and operated related businesses in transportation, including that of tugboats and barges used to transport lumber.
