The William Sanderlin House was one of two very similar homes built near each other on the east side of Belcross Road by brothers William and Joseph Sanderlin. Both houses eventually fell into disrepair. Since the William Sanderlin House was considered to be in the worse condition of the two, it was left to ruin and disappear.
