Description
The Annie L. Vansciver was probably the most popular of the many boats that traveled the Pasquotank River on regular passenger and cargo runs. Capt. James M. Richardson blew the whistle and left Elizabeth City punctually at 2:00 p.m. to regularly scheduled stops at Shiloh, Old Trap, Newbern's Landing, Jarvisburg, and Barnett's Creek.
