Recording of a performances given by unnamed old time ensembles, Luke Smathers and the Old Time String Band, Dutch Cove Old Time String Band, Asheville Highlander Pipe Band, Bear Creek Ramblers, and the Rough Creek Cloggers at Shindig on the Green 1977. For one of the songs, the Luke Smathers and the Old Time String Band band leader plays the balloon as an instrument.
