Description

The courthouse is a two-story rectangular brick structure. Its dominant feature is a classical two-story portico crowned with a distinctive three-stage cupola. One of the photographs shows the courtoom door. More information about these photographs can be found on page 78 of the book The Architectural Heritage of Chatham County, North Carolina written by Rachel Osborn and Ruth Selden-Sturgill.
