Description

Moore-Manning House located at 400 Hillsboro Street. The house is a two-story Federal residence onto which later Greek, Egyptian, and Gothic Revival motifs were grafted. It was built circa 1837. These photographs show the house, the staircase, and window. The window is a Greek Revival style shouldered architrave. More information about these photographs can be found on page 51, 96-97 of the book The Architectural Heritage of Chatham County, North Carolina written by Rachel Osborn and Ruth Selden-Sturgill.
