Description
Matthews-Wren House at 216 East Fourth Street. Built in 1916, it has a square two-story form with a balustrade mounting its hip roof, three-sided bay windows, and various rear additions. The entrance portico is two stories tall, supported by four massive Ionic columns and surmounted by a balustrade. The wraparound porch also features Ionic columns.
