Description

Siler City Mills at 118 West Second Street. It has been demolished. The older section of the structure was a four-story frame structure with a roof that was half gable and half monitor. Over the years several one-story additions were made and were sheathed in pressed tin. More information about this photograph can be found on page 145 of the book The Architectural Heritage of Chatham County, North Carolina written by Rachel Osborn and Ruth Selden-Sturgill.
