Description
The residence was originally a one-room log cabin. It is now a one-and-a-half-story four-bay structure with two end chimneys with stone bases and brick stacks, a boxed cornice, and original nine-over-six sash windows on the facade. More information about this photograph can be found on page 175-176 of the book The Architectural Heritage of Chatham County, North Carolina written by Rachel Osborn and Ruth Selden-Sturgill.
