The residence features a three-bay facade sheathed by a crude shed-roof porch and six-over-six sash windows. The photograph shows the log portion. More information about this photograph can be found on page 205 of the book The Architectural Heritage of Chatham County, North Carolina written by Rachel Osborn and Ruth Selden-Sturgill.
