Description

The residence, built circa 1860-1870, is a two-story three-bay Greek Revival house with an exuberant two-tier 20th century porch, gable roof, two brick end chimneys set in common bond, six-over-six sash windows, and a double-leaf entrance with sidelights and transom containing unusual trapezoidal panes. More information about this photograph can be found on page 214 of the book The Architectural Heritage of Chatham County, North Carolina written by Rachel Osborn and Ruth Selden-Sturgill.
