Description
The residence, built circa 1890, is a one-and-a-half-story three-bay gable-roof house with slender paired posts that have delicate lacy brackets, a double-leaf entrance with sidelights, two brick end chimneys with stone bases, and an embellished hip-roof front porch. Photographs show the house as well as a close up of a post with sawnwork brackets. More information about these photographs can be found on pages 75 and 224 of the book The Architectural Heritage of Chatham County, North Carolina written by Rachel Osborn and Ruth Selden-Sturgill.
