Description

Dating from the mid-19th century, the log complex consists of a one-and-a-half-story one-bay log house and a detatched one-story three-bay log kitchen next to it. The log structures were crafted with V-notches and have wide coursed rubblestone chimneys. More information about this photograph can be found on page 242 of the book The Architectural Heritage of Chatham County, North Carolina written by Rachel Osborn and Ruth Selden-Sturgill.
