Description

The residence is a unadorned two-story three-bay house that embodies a transitional late-Greek Revival/early vernacular Victorian form. It has a north-facing main block with hip-roof front porch, exterior end chimneys, a one-story kitchen ell with its own stone-and-brick end chimney, six-over-six sash windows, and a two-bay fenestration on the second floor. More information about this photograph can be found on page 252 of the book The Architectural Heritage of Chatham County, North Carolina written by Rachel Osborn and Ruth Selden-Sturgill.
