Description

The residence, constructed circa 1850, is a two-story house with a low-hip roof, square proportions, a sedate five-bay facade, six-over-six sash windows, symmetrically molded cornerboards, and a central entry composed of paneled double-leaf doors enframed by transom and sidelights. More information about these photographs can be found on page 253-254 of the book The Architectural Heritage of Chatham County, North Carolina written by Rachel Osborn and Ruth Selden-Sturgill.
