Description

This church was constructed at the turn-of-the-century with a Gothic Revival design. It has a one-bay by five-bay basilica-plan structure, a central three-stage tower comprising the belfry and entrance, a double-leaf entry headed by an arched transom set with stained glass, and a tall pyramid roof with narrow finial. More information about this photograph can be found on page 292-293 of the book The Architectural Heritage of Chatham County, North Carolina written by Rachel Osborn and Ruth Selden-Sturgill.
