Description

The house is a one-and-a-half-story residence that was originally a three-bay coastal cottage with engaged front porch, engaged rear shed, and a brick chimney with wide paved shoulders and narrow stack. A two-bay addition with an internal brick chimney stack and entry was added in the early 20th century. More information about this photograph can be found on page 314 of the book The Architectural Heritage of Chatham County, North Carolina written by Rachel Osborn and Ruth Selden-Sturgill.
