Description

The original residence, built in the early 20th century, was a three-bay structure with an interior chimney. The current residence is a one-story four-bay L-plan house. The L-shaped plan of the house was a result of an addition of a projecting wing on the house's west gable end. More information about this photograph can be found on page 318 of the book The Architectural Heritage of Chatham County, North Carolina written by Rachel Osborn and Ruth Selden-Sturgill.
