The country store, built circa 1880, featured a straightforward gable-front, simple rectilinear floor plan, narrow three-bay main symmetrical facade, sash windows in plain frames with six-over-six pane glazing located in the gable and on either side of the single leaf entrance, and doors that were sheathed inside and out with wide diagonally laid boards studded with nails. The main facade was accented by deep cornice returns, sheltered by a hip-roof porch with plain supports, and surmounted by a central-gable window. The store was located at Jordan Lake's impoundment area but was destroyed by 1974.
